In accordance with the video’s description, the spokesperson highlighted 2023 achievements and efforts that contributed to Morocco’s progress in humanitarian causes. He also commemorated the 60th anniversary of the establishment of the Organization of African Unity (OAU), known now as the African Union.
“This year’s Throne Day also serves to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the founding of the Organization of African Unity and to reflect on the path ahead to achieve our Organization’s Founding Fathers’ goal of a strong, prosperous, and unified Africa.”
Amrani added that it is our duty to promote the unity of African nations, and that Morocco has been working toward this objective since the Casablanca Conference in 1961. “We must follow in their footsteps and honor their legacy by focusing on the well-being of Africans, especially young people.
The ambassador shed light on numerous initiatives undertaken in Morocco in an variety of areas during King Mohammed VI’s leadership.
