Morocco’s military attaché Colonel Mohammed Seghir landed in the Republic of Mauritania upon royal orders, according to a press release by the Mauritanian Army on Thursday.
Seghir and outgoing Colonel Moncef Bakhat were both received by Lieutenant General El Mokhtar Bolle Chaâbane, Chief of General Staff of Mauritanian Armed Forces.
The meeting was also attended by Colonel Sidi Ferk, Commander of Mauritanian military cooperation divisions.
The meeting is part of bolstering military cooperation between the two African countries.
