Tour operator “Intrepid Travel” announced four brand new trips in Morocco for 2024 following the growing demand, according to “The Travelweek” travel news source.
Morocco tours have experienced wide post-epidemic expansion, turning the African country into one of the most popular travel destinations worldwide.
Intrepid and the Moroccan National Tourism Office (MNTO) have signed a three-year agreement in order to improve local tourism and bring in 50,000 extra visitors annually by 2026.
“We are thrilled to be launching this new partnership with MNTO, investing more in the development of tourism in my home country,” said Morocco-based General Manager for Intrepid Travel Hala Benkhaldoun.
Among the many highlights of the four new trips is a rare venture through Morocco’s Happy Valley, or the Ait Bougmez region of the High Atlas Mountains.
Intrepid company has 73 local team members based in its Marrakech office, and over 2,000 departures in the country each year, making it one of Morocco’s leading tour operators.
