The Moroccan Taekwondo squad won 7 medals, including two golds, at the G2 International Taekwondo Championships held on July 24-25 in the Senegalese capital Dakar.
The two gold medals were harvested by Fatima Zahra Aboufirass (+73 kg) and Oumaima Boumah (-73 kg), while Sakina Saheb (-46 kg) took silver.
The four bronze medals went to Faisal Saidi (-68 kg), Ouasfi Abdelbasset (-68 kg), Youssef Bouätriss (-80 kg) and Hatim Barhou (-54 kg).
Abdelkader Zrouri and Issam Chernoubi coached the national team in this G2 competition.
Other competing African countries include host country Senegal, Tunisia, Ivory Coast and Egypt.
