Ain Leuh (Ifrane Province) will host the 22nd Ahidous National Festival from August 4 to 6, an event sponsored by the Ministry of Culture to showcase Ahidous folklore and authentic art form, and promote regional tourism.
The organizers say the local carnival is a collaboration between the ministry and the association “Taimat for Atlas Arts”, with the goal of safeguarding cultural heritage in its various manifestations and ensuring its continuity.
The must-attend event, held to the delight of traditional art’s lovers, attracts troupes from all across the Kingdom, with the view of stimulating debate between poets, artists, and researchers on Amazigh culture, as well as to display Amazigh art and culture.
The twenty-first edition drew 46 bands from diverse regions.
