1.5+ Kg of Coke Seized, 2 Arrested Central Morocco

Policemen arrested, Wednesday in Khouribga, two suspects, aged 33 and 34–both with criminal records and one of them was wanted nationally–over the suspicion of involvement in possession and promotion of hard drugs.
The two suspects were arrested on board a light utility vehicle on the road leading to Oued Zem–where they were caught in flagrante delicto possessing quantities of cocaine, bladed weaponry, and mobile phones–in addition to cash in both domestic and foreign currency, probably the proceeds of black market.
An additional amount of cocaine was seized in a rented house, bringing the total amount to approximately 1.6 kilograms. In addition to an electronic scale, a motorcycle and an additional amount of money were confiscated.
The suspects were remanded in police custody to complete the investigation under the competent prosecution.
