Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) is taking an interest in a summer transfer for Moroccan international Yassine Bounou as a second goalkeeper, as reported by many sports media.
“The Parisian club is looking for a backup goalkeeper for its Italian incumbent, especially considering Sergio Rico’s serious injury.” It might therefore be Moroccan international Yassine Bounou, reported RMC sport.
The Parisian club’s coach Luis Enrique spoke of the summer mercato, pointing out that the 32-year-old star demonstrated solid experience and reliability, making him a strong profile for PSG.
The Parisian management and Yassine Bounou have already begun discussions.
Bounou’s contract with Sevilla runs until 2025. The Atlas Lions goalkeeper was signed by Atlético Madrid and Real Zaragoza before joining Girona in 2016.
