Morocco’s Royal Gendarmerie added the new French-manufactured DT26 E model compilation of drones to its arsenal, reported the Royal Armed Forces (FAR) on its Facebook page.
This deal was concluded with French company « Delair » in 2021.
The official page indicates that this development aims to enhance the security functions of the Royal Gendarmerie Units and to confront suspicious movements and illegal immigration, in addition to organized crime.
These drones are able to make trips that take approximately three hours at a speeds of up to 57 kilometers per hour, in addition to holding a high-resolution EO / IR camera with an optical zoom of X30.
