The Moroccan Democratic Organization of Journalism and Media Professions (ODJMM) called for immediate apology from the “Obrero” Spanish workers’ political party following its anti-Moroccan territorial integrity posters.
The organization saw this move from a party from our neighboring country as a systematic provocation, and a hostile, childish, and direct attack on Moroccan sovereignty.
The organization declared the strong likelihood of resorting to international courts to seek redress from the conspirators of this anti-Moroccan propaganda.
“This act constitutes a dangerous precedent in which this political party hits the norms and traditions in international relations to jeopardize the relationship between the two peoples,” says the statement.
The organization expressed its strong rejection of “…the use and exploitation of the symbols of the Kingdom of Morocco” and its national identity, as it called on the Spanish media and its democratic traditions to condemn these attacks on Morocco’s territorial integrity.
