In more news today from Australia, Clare O’Neil, Minister of the nation’s Home Affairs Department, accurately pegged Donald Trump Junior’s sensitive ego as the actual reason for why he cancelled what would have been a speaking engagement on Wednesday in Sydney.
The Trump camp, however, unsurprisingly yet futilely tried to obfuscate the real reason–his dismal levels of popularity in the nation, culminating in tens of thousands of signatures protesting his visit–by blaming it on “visa issues.”
However, O’Neil, one of the highest-ranking ministers in the Labour government led by Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, assured sources that Trump had indeed been granted a visa, and that poor ticket sales was the reason why he called off the visit.
“Geez, Donald Trump Jr. is a bit of a sore loser,” she said in a series of posts on Twitter, reported Reuters. “He’s just a big baby, who isn’t very popular.”
While the younger Trump has long been a vociferous supporter of his father’s presidential campaign, his recent comments on his online show in which he confusingly insults his own father (i.e., “Trump has the charisma of a mortician”) only brings to light his hypocrisy in jumping on Joe Biden when he misspeaks, which he blames on senility.
He has also been quick to jump on Hunter Biden’s drug use, along with what he considers to be the media’s current lack of explosive interest in cocaine showing up at the White House the other day. However, multiple personalities have alleged his own use of illegal substances.
Trump Junior also drew the ire of U.S. educators in 2019 when he referred to the entire teaching profession as “losers,” while encouraging students to ignore them.
Who’s the “loser” now, Junior?
