Health Minister Khalid Ait Talib paid on Tuesday a visit to the Driouch provincial hospital, and toured its different wards and departments to check the quality of health care they offer.
The tour of inspection is in line with the Royal instructions meant to overhaul and upgrade Moroccan health facilities.
The minister pledged to remedy all shortcomings hampering the development of the health sector in the Driouch province, by providing all the necessary medical equipment and qualified staff to serve the sick, especially those suffering from precariousness, and ensure an inclusive, sustainable human development.
On the sidelines of the visit, an agreement was inked mainly by the Health Ministry and Driouch provincial council to reinforce medical care and make it accessible for all. Under the accord, 105 health professionals will be employed, including physicians, nurses and technicians.
