The police patrol of the city of Salé and the Anti-Gang Squad used their functional weapons on an urgent basis Tuesday morning—in order to neutralize the incursion of an armed-and-dangerous 35-year-old wanted person who was in a state of active rush and was therefore considered an immediate threat to the life and safety of the officers.
The suspect was in an abnormal state of agitation on the public street of Ouled Mousa Neighborhood with two large white knives but resisted violently and attempted to stab the officer.
The suspect passed away upon arrival at the hospital due to wounds inflicted by the officer who was acting in self-defense.
The deceased’s body was placed in the mortuary subsequent to the autopsy, and the Regional Service of the Judicial Police of the City of Salé launched an investigation under the supervision of the competent Public Prosecutor’s Office to determine all the circumstances surrounding the case.
