The Director of the Royal Police Institute was temporarily suspended from work and will be brought before the disciplinary committee for poor management of the Institute and affiliated schools, according to a security source.
The National Police (DGSN) announced on Saturday the initiation of disciplinary actions and performance appraisal procedures against several police members working at the said bodies, after an investigation revealed shortcomings, deviations and unethical behaviors.
The suspension sanction involves also the police lieutenant-colonel. Two brigadier generals and an inspector received a warning with an assignment outside the police establishment.
Similar disciplinary sanctions were taken against several police officers, in addition to a regional security commander who was relieved of his duties and stationed elsewhere.
