Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian said on Thursday that his country is ready to resume relations with Morocco, according to Iran’s news agency “Tasnim”.
The minister, who was speaking on the occasion of Eid Al Adha to Muslim ambassadors accredited to Iran, hailed the restoration of ties with Saudi Arabia, adding that Iran is prepared to normalize relations with Morocco and Egypt,
He explained that having a good relationship with Islamic and regional nations is a top priority in Iran’s foreign policy agenda.
The Iranian official voiced his country’s concern over the eruption of war in Sudan, adding that what happened in Afghanistan, Iraq and Syria is a plot against the Islamic Ummah.
Amir-Abdollahian stressed the need for unity and solidarity among Muslims to fulfil their common aspirations.
