Moroccan carrier Royal Air Maroc (RAM) has been ranked “Best Regional Airline in Africa 2023” in the Skytrax World Airline Awards. RAM topped other airlines regionally for the ninth time in a row.
RAM was also ranked second best airline in “Africa” on the Skytrax list behind Ethiopian Airlines, and secured the 53rd spot in the SKytrax World “Top100” Airlines, according to a press release by the company.
The 2023 World Airline Awards were announced at the Paris Air Show, with over 350 attendees, including CEOs, Presidents, and Senior Managers. Uniformed cabin crew showcased airline corporate brands, as is customary at the awards.
The national airline proved on many occasions its commitment to the promotion of tourism. It announced, Tuesday, the launch of “Morocco Smiles to You,” an international campaign promoting Moroccan locations in Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and America.
The media-backed program aims to strengthen direct routes connecting Morocco to over 90 destinations globally.
