Dutch Primer Minister Mark Rutte met Morocco’s Head of Government Aziz Akhannouch, on Wednesday, in order to strengthen economic ties, mainly cooperation in the field of green hydrogen, and to discuss important issues such as migration and security.
This visit is part of an African tour that took Rutte to Namibia and South Africa. The Dutch official is accompanied by representatives of leading national companies to discuss cooperation in energy transition.
The National Government of the Netherlands had announced that many agreements will be signed during this visit.
The Prime Minister will speak to students at the NIMAR Institute (the Netherlands expertise center for Moroccan Studies) about Morocco’s role in the region and its collaboration with Europe.
