Morocco will hold the second Negev Forum meeting in mid-July, reported news outlet “The Times of Israel“.
The steering committee of the six-state organization will set the exact date at their upcoming meeting.
It is almost certain that the current name of the Negev Forum will be changed to something more regional and less Israel-centric; however, the news outlet said that the final decision on the name has yet to be made.
All the Abraham Accord parties including the U.S., Egypt, the U.A.E., Bahrain, and Morocco will take part in the assembly.
The Negev Forum, scheduled for June 25th, had been previously postponed due to security tensions between Israel and the Palestinians, as well as the disagreement between Morocco and the U.S. regarding the site of the gathering.
