Knesset Speaker Amir Ohana presented, Thursday, his Moroccan counterpart Rachid Talbi El Alami with the world’s smallest Quran created with Israeli nanotechnology, reported “Win World Israel News“.
“On this occasion, I will give my Moroccan counterpart the smallest Quran in the world with nanotechnology, something that expresses the connection between the old and the new, between history and progress, while respecting tradition and the past,” said Ohana.
Despite containing 77,880 words, the whole Quran is contained on a chip that is 4.7 millimeters high and 500 microns thick.
The chip was created by Israeli jewelry company TANAOR.
Israel and Morocco resumption of ties was in December 2020 as part of the US-brokered Abraham Accords.
More than 200,000 Israelis visited Morocco in 2022 when coronavirus travel restrictions were lifted.
