5 workers were killed Saturday in the Turkish capital of Ankara in a blast that rocked an explosives factory, Turkey’s defense ministry said in a statement.
The blast occurred at the MKE Rocket and Explosives Factory in the Elmadağ district of Ankara.
The explosion was caused by a chemical reaction during the production of dynamite, Ankara Governor Vasip Şahin told reporters.
