The Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) and the Moroccan Tourism Office (ONMT) sealed a strategic partnership for 2023-2030, with the aim of promoting Morocco as a destination through football.
The agreement provides initiatives aimed at raising the profile of football and Morocco as a destination–both nationally and internationally–notably through the integration of football-related elements in upcoming ONMT campaigns.
The ONMT is also committed to supporting the FRMF in an inclusive and concerted effort to promote sports tourism in Morocco, in addition to integrating the national teams into the various communication channels produced by the ONMT.
Conversely, the FRMF pledges to grant the ONMT (its official partner) visibility rights during football matches on screens, billboards and FRMF’s digital platforms, as well as proprietorship over communication materials and other applicable media.
As part of the agreement, the Federation is also required to provide additional visibility to the ONMT through branding of the National Selections’ training jerseys and tracksuits, along with pitch-side devices.
This partnership is also in line with Morocco’s tripartite bid with Spain and Portugal to host the 2030 FIFA World Cup.
