75.858 book enthusiasts flocked to the 28th International Book Fair (SIEL) during the first four days of this event in Rabat, according to SIEL social media official account.
During the first five days of the event, taking place on June 1-11, the Fair, placed under the Patronage of King Mohammed VI, saw a noticeable increase of 4% in attendance compared to the previous edition.
With Quebec as a special guest, the 28th literary extravaganza will celebrate the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Morocco and Canada.
737 exhibitors from 51 countries and 661 writers, thinkers and poets are participating in 221 events on the Fair’s agenda.
