After Ferrari, Armani, and even Vogue, it’s Apple’s turn to boost the country’s reputation by placing the spotlight on Morocco as a commercial hub. The tech giant showcased the nation–and Marrakech in particular–in a promotional video for the launch of its new, $3,500 USD augmented reality headset, entitled Apple Vision Pro, as revealed by the Moroccan Tourism Office (ONMT).
Apple took advantage of its WWDC 2023 (Worldwide Developers Conference) on Monday to introduce its new headset’s applications and uses; namely, the ability to watch films, play video games, and capture 3D videos, reported ONMT.
In Apple’s worldwide presentation, Morocco, particularly Marrakech, was portrayed as the perfect backdrop for the headset’s capabilities, with the city’s distinctive beauty exhibited in magazine-style form. Apple described Marrakech as a destination rich in authenticity and history which should not be missed.
