U.S. aircraft engine manufacturer Pratt & Whitney has decided to set up a factory in Morocco, according to national news outlets.
Negotiations for this facility, geared toward the military market, began in 2019 and are now taking shape in Nouaceur (Casablanca-Settat region).
The company, which was established in 1925, specializes in the design, production, and maintenance of engines for corporate, military, and commercial aircraft.
Pratt & Whitney is recognized worldwide for its technological expertise and innovation in the field of aviation. Its engines power a multitude of aircraft worldwide, and the company plays a key role in the overall aviation industry.
