The Moroccan National Team ranked second globally in the World Championship for Speed Reading and Mind Mapping.
The competition took place on April 29-30 at the Media Library of the Hassan II Mosque Foundation in Casablanca.
The team also ranked first in Arab and African countries.
More than 400 candidates from numerous delegations took part in the competition.
The national team is composed of 20 participants from all age groups, including children, adolescents, and adults, said the Moroccan Association of Mind Sports in a press release.
“We participated in this special session in three languages: Arabic, French, and English, with a team that showed a firm commitment and trained throughout the month of Ramadan to raise the flag of its country,” said President of the Moroccan Association for Mind Sports and national team coach Majda Brabije.
The association added that Brabije is also the head of the Africa and Middle East Committee at the International Organization (Guild of Mind Sports Arbiters), as she is the only Arab, Moroccan, and African woman within this organization.
