Western Digital, a global leader in data storage, will display its most recent 22TB hard drives at the GITEX Africa in Morocco from May 31 to June 2, 2023, where technology professionals from across the world will be converging.
The first edition of “GITEX AFRICA Morocco” opened its doors to over 900 exhibitors and start-ups, as well as delegations from over 95 countries.
The American company is showcasing its newest 22TB HDDs that have been specifically designed to cater to the needs of key target segments as IT/data center channel customers, cloud and enterprises, and smart video/surveillance.
Western Digital is exhibiting its latest premium storage solutions which claim to give scalable, high-performance, and dependable solutions across sectors throughout the world.
Western Digital’s Sales Director for Africa, Ghassan Azzi, stated: “As a market leader, we constantly endeavor to meet various industries’ evolving capacities and analytical requirements. Furthermore, as the digital landscape keeps evolving, it is imperative that we continue to innovate to keep pace with the exponential growth of data and technology”.
The opening ceremony of this event, held under the Patronage of King Mohammed VI, was marked by the presence of Head of Government Aziz Akhannouch, Minister of Digital Transition Ghita Mezzour, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence of the United Arab Emirates, Omar Sultan Al Olama, President of the Moroccan Chamber of Commerce (CGEM), Chakib Alj, and Director General of the Agency for Digital Development.
The Gitex Africa Digital Summit will bring together leaders from the public and private sectors, as well as policymakers, investors, and academics, to help ease Africa’s transformation into a coveted digital market.
