German Boehringer Ingelheim, leader in biopharmacy and pharmaceutical products, has recently inaugurated its scientific office in Casablanca, according to news outlet “DayFR Euro”.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany in Morocco Robert Dolger and representatives of various ministerial departments at the German Ministry of Health.
Through this office, the organization seeks to deepen its ties with Moroccan and African states, while reaffirming its dedication to enhancing both human and animal health in the area.
“The medical and pharmaceutical sector of Germany is world-class with over 400 Billion € per year. Boehringer Ingelheim is a very good example of this sector with a presence in Morocco for 20 years”, said the ambassador.
“Germany stands alongside the Moroccan government and all stakeholders in the health sector to achieve universal health coverage and expand patient access to innovative drugs in Morocco,” stated the official.
Regional MD and Head of Human Pharma India, Middle East, Turkey, and Africa at Boehringer Ingelheim Mohammed Tawil said that through this research office, the company will strengthen its footprint in the region.
