Spanish news website “El Faro de Ceuta” said the Spanish Civil Guard arrested more than 30 migrants over the past few hours after catching them entering the city illegally via the sea route or by jumping over the metal fence.
The would-be migrants are of Moroccan, Tunisian, Algerian, Syrian, and Sudanese nationalities.
The news outlet added that the first group was made of 18 migrants who arrived at around 6:00 a.m. The second group of 10 individuals arrived at 10:00 a.m., while 4 other irregular migrants arrived at noon.
The same source said that all migrants are in good health, and are receiving the necessary assistance from the Civil Guard and some volunteers.
