American actor Robert de Niro will formally launch the Nobu Hotel, in the red city of Marrakech on Thursday, which he co-founded with Japanese chef Nobu Matsuhisa and American director Meir Tepper.
This inauguration will be marked by a press conference, a “soft opening” and a shooting session of the five-star establishment’s stakeholders.
The deluxe hotel is located at the center of Marrakech’s “Golden Triangle” region, in the Hivernage district, and is the first hotel of the brand co-founded by Robert de Niro.
The hotel has 71 rooms, each with a breathtaking view of the Atlas Mountains, as well as a restaurant and a Nobu bar. It also boasts a panoramic rooftop with swimming pools, a restaurant, and a sushi bar.
The Nobu Suite includes a private in-suite bar and a wrap-around balcony, providing a refuge for six guests to experience luxury penthouse living.
At noon, the Rooftop Garden provides Mediterranean and Moroccan food as well as Nobu sushi.
Furthermore, there are 3 swimming pools inside the hotel, as well as the prestigious Pearl Spa, one of the largest in Marrakech, spanning around 2,000m3 and including 14 individual treatment rooms.
Visitors seeking to go out and explore the city may choose from a variety of unusual activities. Sunset camel rides, quad-riding sessions, Moroccan culinary workshops indoors, and open-air dining beneath the stars are among them.
