Jordanian news website “Juhayna News” shed light, anew, on the close relationship between the Polisario and terrorist groups operating in the Sahel and Sahara region, and the threat they pose to the entire region and the African continent.
An in-depth investigation by the news outlet concluded that the infamous Sahel terrorist and criminal, known as Adnane Abu Walid al-Sahrawi, was one of Polisario senior executives, while his deputy Abdel Hakim al-Sahrawi was a former Polisario member assigned to the Tindouf camps.
This collusion between the Polisario and terrorist organizations was evident in the investigations conducted by the Moroccan counter-terrorism services and the continuous dismantling of terrorist cells.
The Jordanian news outlet added that the Tindouf camps have become over the past years a fertile ground for the emergence of terrorist movements.
It revealed that the Polisario took advantage of the proliferation and abundance of weapons provided by international arm trafficking in the Sahel-Sahara region. “Polisario members joined the terrorist movements in this region to implement a destructive agenda targeting Morocco.”
The news website pointed out that Tindouf camps are offering backup jihadists for the various terrorist organizations active in this region since the time of the Salafist Group for Preaching and Combat, which later became Al Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb.
The news outlet explained that these camps have become notorious for supplying various ISIS-affiliated organizations with terrorist members, with the blessing of Polisario’s leadership.
It recalled that the Polisario is politically, diplomatically, financially and militarily supported by the camps’ host country, which does everything in its power to prolong the sufferings of the Tindouf camps’ dwellers.
