In preparation for the “African Lion 2023” exercise, a series of academic training programs covering various operational domains kicked off on Monday at the Southern Zone Headquarters in Agadir, the General Staff of the FAR said Monday in a statement.
These modules will be of value to hundreds of officers and enlisted personnel from Morocco and partner countries, who will be provided proficiency certifications for their efforts.
The pronouncement elaborates that in addition to the various facets of the tutorials, these workshops will cover interagency operational planning methods, legal aspects, public information, medical planning, cybersecurity, and techniques for evaluating interagency collaboration.
The 19th edition of the multinational interagency exercise known as “African Lion” is scheduled to take place from June 2-16. The program will span six regions of Morocco, specifically Agadir, Benguerir, Kenitra, Mahbès, Tiznit, Tifnit, and Tantan.
