The 4th version of the DGSN Open Door Days–organized by the national police on May 17-21 in Fez—received 1.15 million visitors, breaking the event’s all-time attendance record.
Public participation peaked Friday and Saturday with a total exceeding 630,000. Students represented a significant proportion of the audience, as well as citizens from the city of Fez and various other Moroccan cities, as well as residents, tourists, and official foreign dignitaries.
DGSN launched an application for Open Doors on the most widely used mobile operating systems, and the official accounts of the DGSN on social media were created to ensure the live broadcast of the various activities of this event, which achieved more than 20 million views.
The number of police officers participating in professional presentations exceeded 2,300. They interacted with citizens in the various exhibition spaces and showcased 150 vehicles, including armored security vehicles that were presented for the first time.
The Open Doors Days also organized 31 galleries highlighting various police specializations, and providing a comprehensive overview of applications and technical systems developed by the DGSN to serve the security of citizens. There was also a shared gallery between security services, the National Council for Human Rights, and the National Agency for Road Safety.
Several meetings and seminars were held on current topics, including digital identity and missing children.
The event was also marked by an area designated for blood donation–within the framework of the existing partnership between the Police and the National Center for Blood Transfusion–which culminated in the registration of 465 blood donors by members of the police force and visitors alike.
