The France-Visas platform will be temporarily unavailable starting from May 26 to 30 due to technical and regulatory adjustments in the visa application process, the French embassy in Morocco had announced.
The embassy explained that for countries where visa applications are submitted in person at the visa office, there will be no impact if the applications were already accessed on the France-Visas platform before May 26.
It added that for applicants who were unable to submit their applications online before that deadline but have appointments after May 30, the paperwork procedure will not be affected.
The embassy urged visa applicants to submit their applications online before May 26.
A recent report by Schengen Visa Info website listed France among the states with the highest visa denial rates when it comes to Moroccans. The visa-tracking website showed that Moroccans have spent 3 million euros over Schengen visa applications that were later turned down.
