The Moroccan military is growing stronger by the day with the new Israeli Precise & Universal Launching System (PULS) artillery rocket systems, as indicated by the Royal Armed Forces (FAR) Facebook page.
The FAR page featured, in addition to the newly acquired US High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems (HIMARS), Skystriker drones, which are capable of long-range precise tactical strikes, Predator Hawk, a tactical ballistic missile system, and Czech TATRA, a heavy army logistics vehicle.
The US State Department had approved the sale of 18 HIMARS rocket launcher systems to Morocco, which are regarded as the most advanced and modern in the world, according to the World Nation News.
HIMARS (High Mobility Artillery Rocket System) are armed with ATACMS tactical missiles (reaching 300 km) and JSOW AGM154C wing bombs, allowing them to serve as an anti-missile and missile system.
Morocco will pay slightly over $524 million once the necessary procedural processes have been completed, as confirmed by the Pentagon.
The State Department stated that Morocco’s ability to respond to current and future threats will be improved, and the newly-purchased weaponry will contribute to its ability to detect threats and control its borders, in order to maintain regional stability and security.
