Morocco has invested in the development of advanced industrial platforms, specialized training centers, and infrastructure, allowing the country to attract both domestic and foreign investors, wrote American magazine “Forbes”.
The magazine said that the Moroccan government has been working to attract foreign investment and develop a skilled workforce to create a sustainable aerospace industry.
Forbes added that the demand for aircraft maintenance services in Morocco has increased due to the increasing number of companies operating in the country.
The strategic location, government support, skilled workforce, and global partnerships are the main factors for the sector’s growth.
The Moroccan government has also prioritized building the resources and infrastructure required to entice maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) businesses.
Morocco is also drawing investments from a variety of companies, which is facilitating the development of an organized aviation ecosystem in Africa and facilitating simpler access to services, it recalled.
Morocco has implemented several training and development programs to strengthen the local knowledge economy.
