The Unique exhibition “Diyala”, combining works of ceramic, sculpture, printmaking, weaving, musical, and other mosaic arts showcasing Moroccan Jewish culture, will take place in Hadera (Israel) on May 16-25, with the participation of over 30 craftsmen, according to news outlet “i24”.
In honor of the event, a meeting was held in the Moroccan city of Fez at the Chamber of Arts and Crafts, and was attended by Chamber director Abdelmalek al-Boutien and coordinator of relations between the Chamber and the city of Hadera, Abraham Avizmir.
This exhibition signifies the strengthened and growing ties between Hadera and Fez, Morocco. Its idea came about following a Hadera delegation’s visit to the city.
The event invites everyone to witness the inspiring display of traditional Moroccan Jewish handicrafts by talented artisans. The mayor of Fez is also expected to attend.
