Moroccan U-17 football team defeated Mali, Saturday, in the semi-finals of the Africa Cup of Nations for Under-17. Both teams played well, but neither was able to score a goal throughout the full 90-minute play.
The game went into a tense penalty shootout, with Morocco eventually winning.
The Moroccan team demonstrated superior penalty-taking talents, netting three goals in the first round while Mali missed two.
Morocco’s victory in the second round of penalties guaranteed them a spot in the championship final.
