Morocco and Portugal signed, Friday in Lisbon, 12 agreements covering various strategic areas to strengthen bilateral cooperation.
The signature took place during the 14th Luso-Moroccan High-Level Meeting, co-chaired by Prime Minister of the Portuguese Republic António Costa and Head of Government Aziz Akhannouch.
The two parties inked agreements on cooperation in the field of civil defense as well as in the legal, training, and justice administration fields.
They also signed a MoU in the field of the development and promotion of housing in rural areas, in addition to a 2023-2024 Implementation Program on the Cultural and Scientific Accord.
Morocco and Portugal also signed MoUs in the social field, handicrafts and social economy, research and development, environment and sustainable development, youth, women empowerment and non-discrimination, and investment fields.
Moreover, the two countries inked a protocol of cooperation in the field of ports and an Implementation Program on tourism for 2023-2025.
