The Moroccan Tourism Office (ONMT) has signed a partnership with Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) to bring more Scandinavian tourists to Morocco.
Under the agreement, the SAS will launch weekly direct flights between Agadir and Stockholm and Copenhagen, creating a new air route between the Kingdom and Scandinavia, said a press release by the Office.
The partnership is expected to strengthen tourism ties and generate new opportunities for both Morocco and the Scandinavian regions.
This is a new milestone in our partnership with Scandinavia as the SAS is the largest airline in Northern Europe, said head of ONMT Adel El Fakir.
The strategic partnership will help explore new markets, boost tourist inflow, and enhance the attractiveness of Agadir seaside resort, he added.
