Green Energy Park (GEP), the Institute for Research in Solar Energy and New Energy (IRESEN), and Germany’s Offenburg University have signed, Monday, a partnership agreement to strengthen scientific and academic cooperation in renewable energy, according to a press release by IRESEN.
The new renewables deal is part of the “university-business” program. It aims to create synergies between the energy sectors of both countries through joint research activities, exchange of faculty and students, and sharing of scientific reports and publications.
The partnership includes also a summer school, which runs until May 12 at the Green & Smart Building Park in Benguerir, where 30 Moroccan and German students will receive intensive courses on eco-energy building design, smart grid technologies, renewable energy integration, and digitalization.
