A football supporter died, Saturday, in a stampede as thousands of fans tried to get into the Mohammed V Stadium to watch the CAF Champions League quarterfinal match between Raja and Al-Ahly.
The local authorities of the municipality of Casablanca-Anfa and the elements of civil protection have intervened as soon as they were informed of the accident.
The 29-year-old woman received first aid and was transported to Moulay Youssef Hospital where she passed away.
A probe was initiated under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor to identify the circumstances of this tragic incident.
