MP in Police Custody for Corruption

Police services arrested, Wednesday in Rabat, Member of Popular Movement party (MP), named M.M., in his apartment located in Mahaj Riad, an informed source said.
The deputy, who is also chairman of the justice and human rights committee at the lower house, is wanted, under a notice issued on April 25, for embezzlement of money and squandering of public funds.
The family of the arrested alleged, two days before Eif Al Fitr, that he had health problems.
The suspect had already resigned from his position as head of the said parliamentary committee.
