A former Moroccan ambassador to Budapest (1980s and early 1990s) is standing trial, alongside his wife, at the Court of Appeal of Rabat, for human trafficking, sexual harassment, bribery, and failure to report a felony.
The prosecution decided on Tuesday to refer the accused to the investigating judge at the court’s third chamber. The former diplomat is sued while in custody while his spouse is under provisional release.
The examining judge decided to keep the main suspect at the Al Arjat 2 prison and set the date of May 17, 2023 for his first hearing.
