“Jidar”, the unmissable street art event by the EAC L’Boulevart association, will run from May 18 to 28 in Rabat, according to a statement from the organizers.
This 8th edition will feature nine street artists from five countries namely Telmo, Miel, Sebas Velasco, Bezt, Alegria Del Prado, Med, Meriam Benkirane, and Machima, who will create nine murals, a collective wall, and screen-printing workshops.
The program includes also “The Jidar Talks” which will take place on May 25 and 26 at the Mohammed VI Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art. The Jidar Talks will feature Reda Boudina and Yassine Balbzioui, as well as the “Ice Screen”. The speakers will highlight their experiences as well as the importance of screen printing for muralists, added the same source.
Guided tours will also be available to strengthen the connection between murals and the neighborhoods’ dwellers.
