Tangier policemen captured on Tuesday a Tunisian-French National of Moroccan descent, aged 24, under an international arrest warrant issued by Paris for detention, rape, and theft.
The Interpol database revealed the existence of a red notice against the person for involvement in breaking into a woman’s house, detaining her, and subjecting her to sexual assault and stealing her personal belongings. The crimes took place in the French territory in 2018.
The suspect was remanded in police custody to complete the investigation, under the supervision of the public prosecution.
