Tangier Police and customs services seized, Thursday at the Tangier Med Port (north), a sea freight of frozen tuna filled with cocaine.
According to preliminary investigations, the refrigerated container was used to smuggle a large quantity of cocaine, hidden in a shipment of fish, from Ecuador to Spain.
Routine procedures led to the discovery of the concealed packages of the drug.
The investigation is ongoing, in coordination with the Interpol, to identify all members of the international criminal network involved in the smuggling operation.
