The corpses of eleven illegal migrants were found, on Saturday, by citizens in “the white beach” near Guelmim (south).
Eight Moroccans from Guelmim’s region were among the victims, including a woman. The rest are from sub-Saharan Africa.
After the sinking of the boat bound for the Canary Islands, the victims’ bodies were washed away by the waves to the nearest coast.
The bodies will be autopsied to determine their identities and circumstances of death.
