Managing Director of Morocco’s News Agency (MAP) Khalil Hachimi Idrissi died on Saturday after a long disease.
The deceased was the editor in chief of “Maroc Hebdo international” and launched French-speaking daily “Aujourd’hui Le Maroc” in 2001. He was also president of the Atlantic Federation of African News Agencies (FAAPA).
Late Hachimi Idrissi was a prolific writer and poet. He was appointed in 2011 by the King as managing director of MAP.
