Former Minister of Communication, ex-Spokesperson of the Government (2007-2012), and Morocco’s Ambassador to Jordan since 2018 Khalid Naciri passed away, on Wednesday, at the age of 77.
Head of Progress and Socialism party (PPS) group at the Lower House Rachid Hamouni announced the death via his Facebook account.
The deceased graduated from the “Casablanca Faculty of Law” in 1969, and the Rabat Mohammed V University as a political expert in 1970. He became afterward a lawyer.
Naciri was a veteran politician and member of the committee of the Moroccan Communist Party, which became the Party of Progress and Socialism (PPS) in 1974.
He co-founded the Moroccan Organization for Human Rights (OMDH) in 1988, which he chaired from 1990 to 1991.
