The Moroccan Tourism Office (ONMT) presented, Tuesday in Rabat, the 2023-2026 “Light in Action” plan as part of the “Tourism Marketing Days” edition, wrote the Office in a statement.
The action plan is part of the new roadmap approved on March 17 by the Tourism Minister.
The ONMT aims, through the new plan, to support the ministry’s goal to attract over 17 million visitors over the next three years and place Morocco among the top 10 most popular tourist destinations in the world by 2026.
The action plan is based on four pillars: marketing, digital, air, and distribution.
“Light in Action” is an ambitious action plan, in perfect harmony with the new roadmap of the tourism sector. In consultation with professionals, our action plan will focus on marketing, all in digital, air X2, and market expansion,” said ONMT CEO Adel El Fakir.
Concerning the marketing, the emphasis will be placed on the diversification of co-branding actions, and the promotion of different destinations and sectors on domestic and foreign markets.
As for the digital, a media library rich in images and videos will be made available to Moroccan tourism operators.
Distribution targets traditional tour operators and online travel agencies with a view to motivating potential new business partners and strengthening the ONMT-RAM duo.
