Tunisian Health Minister Ali Mrabet refused to give insights, on Sunday at a press conference, into President Kaïs Saïed’s health condition, following his disappearance from the political scene, according to Al-Quds Alarabi.
Opposition leaders called for the implementation of article 107 of the constitution on the “temporary vacancy”, to delegate his prerogatives to the head of government.
Rumor has that Saied had a heart attack and was rushed to the Military Hospital of Tunis.
Politicians are demanding clarifications about Saïed’s status as part of their legitimate right to information.
